About Phulkumari Memorial Hospital

Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Hospital (PKMMH) was established by the Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Trust in 2012 and aims to follow the Trust’s guiding principle of ‘Community Development through Philanthropy’. PKMMH is driven by the need for improved access to quality healthcare services to the people of Karjanha and surrounding districts. Through access to such healthcare, we aim to facilitate accelerating economic development and growth throughout Karjanha, Province 2 and Nepal.

Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Hospital is a 100 bedded not-for-profit community health care facility. The Hospital was inaugurated by the President of Nepal Dr. Ram Baran Yadav on 4th May 2012. The foundation stone of the hospital building was laid by the then Prime Minister of Nepal Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on 13th October 2008. PKMMH, with an area of 74,250 sq. ft is one of the most ambitious philanthropic projects of the Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Trust. We offer a wide range of general and advanced medical services to Karjanha and all surrounding areas with the aim to reach and treat as many people as we can. We are determined to provide innovative, effective and affordable healthcare through the continuous development of our staff and infrastructure.
